BUS-eum features "Behind Barbed Wire"

The BUS-eum exhibit "Behind Barbed Wire" will explore the experiences of Midwest prisoners of war in Nazi Germany during WWII. The exhibit will be at the McPherson Museum, 1130 E. Kansas, on Sunday, Oct. 21, from 1:30-4:30 p.m.

Visitors will gain insights into conditions the POWs experienced; how art, free time, and religion helped POWs survive; assistance that was given by Germans and Austrians; how liberated POWs later came to terms with their experiences; and much more.

The exhibit consists of display panels illustrated with photographs, documents, audio and DVD documentaries, and artifacts.
